1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 Binding Agreement

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy, Responsible Play Policy, and Cookie Policy.

1.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to Users at least thirty (30) days before they take effect, by email and through prominent notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

1.3 Capacity

You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your country of residence.

2. About IdolRun

2.1 Nature of the Service

IdolRun is a free-to-play, skill-based card game in which Users answer cards about real-world fandom and entertainment events using publicly available data, research, and judgment. Playing is always free. Answering cards earns Users in-platform reward points ("Gold Coins") and event currency ("Tickets"), regardless of whether an answer turns out to be correct. Gold Coins are redeemable for non-cash prizes in our Reward Store. Tickets are used to enter Quests and Challenges.

2.2 Comparable Models

Our model is consistent with skill-based games, knowledge and trivia competitions, and fantasy-style contests that reward accuracy, research, and consistent performance over time. Users with greater understanding of the underlying subject matter build stronger track records and rank higher.

3. Definitions

Capitalized terms used in these Terms have the meanings set forth below.

Account

A registered user account on the Service.

Card

An individual question presented within the Service, including its resolution date, resolution source, and reward formula. Cards are free to answer.

Answer

A User's selection of "Yes" or "No" on a given Card. No fee or stake is required to submit an Answer.

Challenge

A timed or themed skill activity that a User enters using Tickets, offering additional rewards such as Gold Coins, Tickets, or Keys.

Chest

A reward container opened with a Key. A Chest contains a Mystery Gift.

Gold Coins

Reward points earned by playing Cards and through Challenges, Quests, leaderboard placements, and promotions, redeemable solely for Prizes in the Reward Store. Gold Coins have no monetary value, are non-transferable, and cannot, under any circumstances, be exchanged for cash, e-wallet credit, mobile credit, cryptocurrency, or any other cash-equivalent. IdolRun may rebrand Gold Coins as "Stan Points" or another name from time to time without changing their nature or function.

Key

An item earned through Challenges that opens a Chest. Keys cannot be purchased and have no monetary value.

Mystery Gift

The contents of a Chest, which may include Gold Coins, Tickets, in-platform cosmetic items, or Puzzle Pieces.

Puzzle Piece

A collectible item found in Chests. A complete set of Puzzle Pieces may be combined to unlock a designated reward, as disclosed in the Service.

Prize

A non-cash reward fulfilled to a User who has redeemed Gold Coins in the Reward Store, including but not limited to merchandise, signed memorabilia, advertising placements, and travel-and-event experiences.

Quest

A multi-step skill activity entered using Tickets, with rewards disclosed in advance.

Reward Store

The in-platform redemption catalog where Users exchange Gold Coins for non-cash Prizes.

Service

The IdolRun website, mobile applications, and all related products, features, and offerings.

Tickets

An in-platform event currency earned by playing Cards (awarded regardless of whether an Answer is correct) and through other in-game activity. Tickets are used solely to enter Quests and Challenges. Tickets have no monetary value, are non-transferable, and cannot be purchased or exchanged for cash.

User

Any individual who accesses or uses the Service, whether or not registered.

4. Eligibility

4.1 Age

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is greater), to register for or use the Service. The Service is not directed to and may not be used by children.

4.2 Jurisdiction

The Service is available only to Users physically located in jurisdictions where IdolRun has confirmed availability (the "Approved Jurisdictions"). The current list of Approved Jurisdictions is published at [URL]. Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Service is permitted under the laws of their country, state, and locality of residence and physical location at the time of use.

4.3 Excluded Persons

The following persons are not eligible to use the Service: (a) employees, officers, directors, contractors, and immediate family members of IdolRun and its affiliates; (b) persons sanctioned by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or any equivalent international sanctions authority; (c) persons resident in jurisdictions excluded from the Service by IdolRun in its sole discretion; (d) persons previously banned from the Service.

4.4 Verification

IdolRun may, at its discretion, verify a User's identity, age, address, and eligibility through know-your-customer (KYC) procedures, government-issued identification, geolocation, and other reasonable means. Failure to complete verification when requested may result in suspension or termination of the Account.

5. Account Registration

5.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an Account. You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information up to date.

5.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials and for all activities conducted through your Account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account.

5.3 One Account

You may maintain only one Account. Multiple, duplicate, or fraudulent Accounts will be terminated and any associated Gold Coins, Tickets, Keys, and Prizes forfeited.

5.4 No Sharing

You may not sell, transfer, lease, or otherwise convey your Account to any other person.

6. Nature of the Service — Skill-Based Game

6.1 Skill, Not Chance

Users determine the outcome of their participation through their own knowledge, research, and analytical judgment. IdolRun publishes resolution sources and reward formulas in advance for every Card, ensuring that Users with greater understanding of the underlying subject matter outperform those without.

6.2 Public Resolution

Every Card resolves to a single, publicly available source of truth identified on the Card detail page before any Answer is accepted. Examples of acceptable resolution sources include but are not limited to: official chart bodies (Billboard, Melon, Oricon, Spotify Charts), official artist and label communications, official tour photographs, broadcast award ceremonies, and verified view counts on official channels.

6.3 No Discretionary Outcomes

IdolRun does not exercise discretion in determining the outcome of a Card. Where the designated resolution source becomes unavailable or ambiguous, Section 9.5 (Card Cancellation) applies.

6.4 Track Records

Each User has a public play record, including overall accuracy, win streaks, and category specialization. These records demonstrate the skill differentiation among Users and are central to the design of the Service.

7. Gold Coins — Earning, Use, and No Cash Redemption

7.1 Definition

Gold Coins are reward points earned by Users through play. Gold Coins are not currency. They are not stored value, electronic money, securities, or any cash-equivalent instrument. They have no value outside the Service.

7.2 Gold Coins Cannot Be Exchanged for Cash

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY GOLD COINS BE EXCHANGED FOR CASH, FIAT CURRENCY, E-WALLET CREDITS, BANK TRANSFERS, MOBILE-CREDIT TOP-UPS, CRYPTOCURRENCY, GIFT CARDS REDEEMABLE FOR CASH, OR ANY OTHER CASH-EQUIVALENT INSTRUMENT. Gold Coins may be redeemed solely for Prizes available in the IdolRun Reward Store as provided in Section 10. IdolRun does not, and will not, operate any "cash-out," "withdraw," or "sell-back" function for Gold Coins.

7.3 Earning Gold Coins

Gold Coins are awarded for playing Cards according to the reward formula published on each Card detail page. A base award of Gold Coins is granted for answering a Card regardless of whether the Answer is correct or incorrect. Additional Gold Coins may be earned through accuracy bonuses, win streaks, category specialization, Quests, Challenges, leaderboard placements, and other initiatives at IdolRun's discretion.

7.4 Non-Transferability

Gold Coins are personal to each User Account and cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, traded, pooled, or otherwise conveyed to any other User or third party. Any attempt to do so is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate Account termination and forfeiture of all Gold Coins and Prizes.

7.5 Use in the Reward Store

Gold Coins may be used solely to redeem Prizes available in the Reward Store. The Gold Coin cost of each Prize is set by IdolRun and may change over time. Prize availability is subject to inventory.

7.6 Expiration

Gold Coins may expire after a continuous period of TWELVE (12) months of Account inactivity. Users will receive notice prior to any expiration.

8. Tickets, Quests, Challenges, Keys, and Chests

8.1 Tickets

Tickets are an in-platform event currency. A base award of Tickets is granted for answering a Card regardless of whether the Answer is correct or incorrect, and Tickets may also be earned through Quests, Challenges, daily activity, and promotions. Tickets are used solely to enter Quests and Challenges. Tickets cannot be purchased, have no monetary value, and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to other Users.

8.2 Quests and Challenges

Users spend Tickets to enter Quests and Challenges — skill activities with rewards disclosed in advance, which may include Gold Coins, Tickets, cosmetic items, and Keys. The Ticket cost and reward structure of each Quest or Challenge is displayed before entry.

8.3 Keys

Certain Challenges award Keys. Keys are earned through play and cannot be purchased. A Key is used to open a Chest.

8.4 Chests and Mystery Gifts

A Chest is opened using a Key and contains a Mystery Gift, which may include Gold Coins, Tickets, cosmetic items, or Puzzle Pieces. The general categories of items available in a Chest are disclosed in the Service.

8.5 Puzzle Pieces

Some Mystery Gifts contain Puzzle Pieces. When a User collects a complete set of Puzzle Pieces, the set may be combined to unlock a designated reward, as described in the Service at the relevant time. Puzzle Pieces have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.

9. Cards

9.1 Card Disclosure

Every Card displays, before any Answer may be submitted: (a) the Card question; (b) the resolution date and time; (c) the public resolution source; (d) the reward formula in Gold Coins and Tickets. There is no entry fee to answer a Card.

9.2 Submission of Answers

An Answer is submitted when a User selects "Yes" or "No" and confirms. Once confirmed, an Answer is final and cannot be canceled or amended.

9.3 Reward Formulas

Reward formulas are published in advance and are based on factors such as Card difficulty tier, accuracy bonuses, User streak bonuses, and category specialization. A base reward is granted for participation regardless of outcome. Reward formulas do not depend on any amount staked, on the proportion of incorrect Answers submitted by other Users, or on any odds-like calculation.

9.4 Resolution and Rewards

Once the resolution source publishes the result, IdolRun resolves the Card and credits rewards to Users according to the published formula. Resolution decisions are final.

9.5 Card Cancellation

If a Card becomes unresolvable — including where (a) the underlying real-world event is canceled or postponed beyond the Card's resolution window, (b) the designated public resolution source becomes unavailable or unreliable, or (c) IdolRun discovers an administrative error in the Card setup — IdolRun will cancel the Card and notify affected Users. Because no fee or stake is required to answer a Card, no entry fee is refunded; any base participation reward already credited is unaffected.

9.6 Disputes

Users may submit a written dispute concerning Card resolution within SEVEN (7) days of resolution by contacting support@idolrun.com. IdolRun's resolution determination, after good-faith review against the published resolution source, is final and binding.

10. Prizes and the Reward Store

10.1 Non-Cash Prizes Only

All Prizes available in the Reward Store are non-cash in nature, including (without limitation): (a) merchandise such as K-beauty products, branded apparel, accessories, and electronics; (b) signed memorabilia, including authenticated signed photocards and albums; (c) entertainment and event experiences, including concert tickets, fan-meet entries, backstage passes, and advertising placements; (d) the season grand prize, comprising travel, accommodation, and event-access elements as described in the Reward Store at the time of redemption.

10.2 Redemption

To redeem a Prize, a User must have sufficient Gold Coins, must be in good standing, and must complete any required redemption forms (including shipping address, identity verification where applicable, and acceptance of any Prize-specific terms). Once redeemed, Gold Coins applied to the Prize are non-refundable.

10.3 Fulfillment

Prizes are fulfilled by IdolRun directly or by approved third-party fulfillment partners. Estimated fulfillment timelines are disclosed in the Reward Store. IdolRun is not responsible for shipping delays caused by third parties, customs authorities, or force-majeure events. Users are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their jurisdiction on Prize fulfillment.

10.4 Prize Substitution

Where a particular Prize becomes unavailable due to vendor or supply issues, IdolRun may substitute a Prize of equal or greater Gold Coin value. Where the User does not accept the substitution, the Gold Coins applied will be returned to the User's Account.

10.5 Taxes on Prizes

Users are responsible for all taxes arising from receipt of Prizes. Where local law requires, IdolRun may issue tax forms and may withhold or report Prize values to applicable tax authorities.

10.6 Prize Forfeiture

IdolRun may forfeit a Prize where (a) the User cannot be verified as eligible; (b) the User has materially breached these Terms; (c) the User has failed to claim the Prize within NINETY (90) days of award; or (d) applicable law prohibits delivery.

11. Free to Play — No Purchase Necessary

11.1 Always Free

No purchase is necessary to play, win, or redeem Prizes on IdolRun. Playing Cards is free, and all Users — including those who never spend any money — may earn Gold Coins and Tickets, enter Quests and Challenges, open Chests, and compete for and win all Prize tiers, including the season grand prize.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

Creating multiple Accounts, sharing an Account, or registering on behalf of another person.
Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information during registration or verification.
Using the Service from a jurisdiction that is not an Approved Jurisdiction, or attempting to circumvent geographic restrictions.
Buying, selling, trading, or transferring Gold Coins, Tickets, Keys, Accounts, or Prizes outside the Service.
Using bots, scripts, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the Service.
Attempting to manipulate Card outcomes, including by colluding with other Users, exploiting non-public information, or interfering with the resolution source.
Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the Service.
Engaging in money laundering, terrorism financing, or any other unlawful conduct through the Service.
Harassment, abuse, hate speech, or threatening conduct toward other Users or IdolRun staff.
Infringing the intellectual property rights of any party, including by uploading content you do not have rights to.

13. Intellectual Property

13.1 Our IP

The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks (excluding User Content), is the property of IdolRun or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

13.2 User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). You grant IdolRun a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, host, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display User Content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

13.3 Third-Party IP

IdolRun does not claim ownership of any artist, group, label, or rights-holder names referenced in Cards. Such references are made for editorial and informational purposes only. Users may not upload, post, or share content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party. IdolRun complies with applicable takedown procedures, including the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

14. Geographic Restrictions

14.1 Approved Jurisdictions

The Service is offered only in Approved Jurisdictions listed at [URL]. IdolRun uses geolocation, IP-based controls, and identity verification to enforce this restriction.

14.2 User Responsibility

You are responsible for confirming that participation in the Service is permitted by the laws of your country, state or province, and locality. Where law prohibits participation, you must not use the Service even if technical access remains possible.

14.3 Sanctions Compliance

You represent and warrant that you are not a person subject to economic sanctions administered by the United States, the United Nations, the European Union, or other competent international bodies, and that you are not located in a sanctioned country.

15. Suspension and Termination

15.1 By the User

You may close your Account at any time by submitting a request to support@idolrun.com. Closure is effective within a reasonable period after request. Unredeemed Gold Coins, Tickets, and Keys may, at IdolRun's reasonable discretion, be forfeited at Account closure.

15.2 By IdolRun

IdolRun may suspend or terminate your Account at any time, with or without notice, for material breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or money laundering, sanctions concerns, or other lawful business reasons. Where suspension is for an investigation, IdolRun will conclude the investigation within a reasonable time and notify the User of the outcome.

15.3 Effect of Termination

On termination, your right to access the Service ends. Sections 7 (Gold Coins), 8 (Tickets, Quests, Challenges, Keys, and Chests), 13 (IP), 16 (Disclaimers), 17 (Limitation of Liability), 18 (Indemnification), 19 (Dispute Resolution), and 20 (Governing Law) survive termination.

16. Disclaimers

16.1 As-Is

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IDOLRUN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OF DATA OR RESULTS.

16.2 No Guarantees

IdolRun does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service, error-free operation, or that any User will achieve any particular accuracy rate, leaderboard position, or Prize.

17. Limitation of Liability

17.1 Cap

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IDOLRUN'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU UNDER OR ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100), OR THE EQUIVALENT IN YOUR LOCAL CURRENCY.

17.2 Excluded Damages

IDOLRUN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST GOODWILL, OR LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IdolRun and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) any User Content you submit.

19. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

19.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact legal@idolrun.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least sixty (60) days.

19.2 Binding Arbitration

Any dispute not resolved informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by [JAMS / AAA / SIAC, per counsel guidance] under its applicable rules. The seat of arbitration is Wilmington, Delaware for U.S. Users and Singapore for non-U.S. Users, conducted in English.

19.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.

19.4 Exceptions

Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for IP infringement or breach of confidentiality.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except that mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence will apply where they cannot be derogated from.

21. Miscellaneous

21.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Responsible Play Policy, and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IdolRun.

21.2 Severability

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

21.3 No Waiver

Failure by IdolRun to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.

21.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. IdolRun may assign these Terms in connection with a corporate transaction.

Notices to you may be sent to your registered email. Notices to IdolRun must be sent to hello@idolrun.com.
